The Tommyboy family and mine will be at the Big Q campground this weekend if anyone is up around Nile Creek this weekend. We will see how much fishing the wives and kids allow us to do, but we plan on fishing at least mornings and evenings.
We had a great time camping, but the fishing wasn't great. We went out early Saturday Morning and scouted Nile Creek from the Bay down to the Rock Gardens (even drove and checked out another semi-secret spot) and didn't see any pinks. We didn't bother going out Saturday Night as it was blowing 20-25km and also decided to sleep in Sunday as both Friday and Saturday nights we real windy and were kept awake by awnings and such flapping around. Wind finally came down to around 10km/hr on Sunday, so we loaded the boat in the water in the Big Q, and took the kids for a boat ride down to Nile Creek and had another good look, and saw nothing. We buzzed a few casting on the beach for good measure and asked them how they were making out, and they hadn't seen anything.
