I'm going to be coming up and camping with a buddy.
Awesome Chris, looking forward to meeting you, keep you eye on this thread for updates of which sites we will be in(should know Thursday night) and if not we will meet in the Amiptheater parking lot(northern most parking lot) at 630am Saturday. Feel free to post any questions or PM me aswell.
Just a fish update There is a pile of fish there and guessing only get better. Sunday was first day that the bigger fish started showing up, the jacks showed up over a week ago. yesterday most of the fish were just out of casting range. Persistence pays off as most of the beach fishermen left and the fish did come somewhat closer, the guys casting 80+ feet were hooking the odd fish. They were not as aggressive as two days earlier. Flys I was using that hooked fish were orange white clousers, rainbow neals, red Neal’s . I got into 6 fish yesterday and landed 3, not like two days earlier. Also seen other flies that caught fish were green Neal’s , blue Neal’s and red body rolled muddlers
just trying to give all a heads up and hope all catch fish. I will be there for Saturday I think so hope to meet all

One week away, so far 22 are offically coming, and I know of a few others possibly coming for the day.
I plan on bringing some Firewood, but would be great of a few others could bring some, and other than that make sure everyone brings a chair etc.
As mentioned before a few of us will head up Thursday Afternoon/evening and find a good site for a base camp with some open sites close by, and will post the site number as soon as we know, and will set up a sign on the road like last year.
There was some mention of people maybe bringing watercraft. I'll bring my kayak if that's going to be a thing but if no one is bringing anything then I'll leave it at home. Just wanted to get a better idea.

Keene, myself and another buddy were up there yesterday morning. I landed 2 jacks and a nice cutty(not Ian sized though). The big fish were mostly out of casting range, and the only big fish I saw hooked up was a guy on a zodiac. Rod showed up for the afternoon shift looked like he hooked into every Sculpin on the beach.
