On behalf of us all at PNW Fly Fishing I would like to extend a huge thanks to all that showed up this weekend and an extra thanks to Jamie and his wife Amanda for lending us the use of their RV for base camp. Fishing was not all that great but the conversation was awesome. Such a great group of people to share the beach with. Hope to see you all again soon, if not there will be a family oriented Spring Fishout that we will soon be organizing. For those that did not make it, it was a good time and you are all welcome to join us next year. Cheers, Coastrider😉

Had a great turn out and lots of new faces, I did have the privilege to meet everyone that attended last night. My count had 23 people, but could have missed one or 2. We also had another 5 that fished with us during the day but couldn't make the dinner for a total of 28 attending. I have list of everyone names that attended but will keep them off the Forum, would be happy to PM etc.
Ed and I were discussing ways to make it even better next year on the drive home.....

Thank you for the kind words Ken, great to meet you. Some once said that an island fishout would never happen, once again positive thoughts and encouragement goes farther than those negative ones. PNW flyfishing is still nothing regardless of all the hard work without all of you quality members that keep the conversations clean and on point. I am not concerned about numbers of members when we can have less numbers of great people, makes it a better place. See you all again next year and some a lot sooner. Spring fishin, here we come
To bad you guys had another lean Coho year. I was in the midst of moving up here into the Interior, so I didn't get a chance to wet a line.. Talk has it, that with all the rain you guys had at the beginning & mid September raised all the rivers levels and the Springs & the Coho shot up the rivers with the high water .. So, the actual run were two weeks prior to your fish outing ..
But, you all had a good time and that's what counts in the end ….
To bad you were in the middle of moving ,it would have been nice to meet you at the fish out .the fishing was pretty lean but there's the rest of the year to catch fish.
