Wet sand that bad boy. Start around 180, and go to at least 1000. Give extra attention to the acrylic.
That is the plan, as well as Jesse's secret sauce for extra shine. Hopefully I won't glue my fingers together.
To be honest I feel CA glue on acrylic is a waste of time as you still have to sand it. I find wet sanding and a steady hand produces a more even finish on the cork. These pictures are the result of progressive wet sanding, no CA glue at all.
