Here is my most recent build. Phil from Race Rocks Custom Rods applied a flawless finish to wraps that I did a while ago in order to complete it for me for a recent trip. The cork rings were stacked, epoxied and turned on the blank. I made the grips a thinner diameter than my previous ARE 6/7 which, evident in the first cast, added a lot more action to the rod. I am really happy with the how this turned out and how it fishes.
Good Lord, how time does fly. Had the switch rod out a few times but not enough to improve much. All good here. Pretty easy spending time in isolation with a wife you've built housing with. Miss the grandkid and have added the verb zoom to my vocabulary. Amazing how much more time there is in a day bereft of obligations.
