I was thinking of it, but will probably hit a stream a bit north of town for a small trout wander. It is my birthday and the last chance to get out before I am laid up following gallbladder surgery...
Have you considered Spider lake. I have tended to catch larger fish there.

Small streams are fun, probably the one your talking of I was at a few weeks back and it was constant fun. If it is the same one, stay to the upper reaches, it was better. Spider was quiet last time I was there and no motors allowed. Happy Birthday and best of luck with the surgery, a good friend had it done and went off without a problem. They basically just sucked hers out laparoscopically.
