And I lost my best friend this morning😠I was just talking to Mike yesterday and he is gone this morning leaving behind a wife and 2 young children. It really still has not quite settled in yet and seeing his wife and kids this morning its unbelievable that he is gone. I did not get to say goodbye or hear the secret he had to tell me, life is too short. Mike was constantly bugging me to build him a fly rod after getting him out in the boat last year, now I wish I had got on it sooner. I will be happy to say goodbye to 2020 and will be making better use of my time left in life. Make sure to tell your family and friends how much you care about them cause you really never know, Mike was 43 years old. This is one guy that will be missed by many

Thank you all, it has been a very difficult week and also a busy week. I managed to work all but the Wednesday he passed as I think time alone is not what I needed. I worked with Mike where I work now so everyone there has been touched by this. We started a go fund me and within 24 hours achieved the $16,000 mark. There is no surprise people are open to helping being the people they are. It was his Daughter's birthday yesterday and it was just another tough day for the family. I am struggling with a heavy heart and I am lost as he was the guy I would talk to in this time of need. This is a very dark year and I am looking forward to turning the page to a fresh start in the new year. Please hold your loved ones a little closer and tighter, I wish I was able to have one more talk, one more walk or on more work shift with him. Merry Christmas to you all and let's pray this next year is a better one. Cheers
